What do you enjoy most about summer?
Submitted by Alex.
Driving with my bare feet. I rarely wear shoes during the warmer months unless I plan on doing a lot of walking, so I'm barefoot in the house and just toss on a pair of sandals when I leave. I don't want to drive wearing those (it'd be a tad dangerous, I think), so I just toss them off and drive with my bare feet. It's great!
What time is your alarm clock set for? Do you use the snooze button?
My alarm clock is set to "William," which usually falls somewhere between 6:30 and 7:30.
What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Peppermint stick.
What are your plans for the weekend?
To relax, spend time with my boys and wife, and try to get my book blog launched. And maybe build/paint some minis.
I can't remember why I did it, but I just spent a few minutes of my life looking for this:
What words, for the life of you, can you never spell correctly?
Submitted by Byrne.
That word is "guarantee" and I'll be damned if I didn't spell it right when I looked up the spelling for it. Sheesh.

When is the last time you stayed up all night?
I think it was early last spring; it was a while before the boys showed up at least. We were in the middle of working on a project with a pretty insane schedule. We had started writing a six week training course four weeks before the students were going to show up. I was teaching a section on the linux kernel and unix in general, and every night I was staying up most of the night trying to get enough done to teach the next day. A couple days into this section, I ended up staying up all night putting together slides and exercises for the next day. Jenn insisted she drive me to work because she was really worried about me driving my hour long commute in that state.
The project wasn't completely awful though. The second day of the course, a coworker and I taught a day long session on Perl that went absolutely swimmingly; I can even claim that I wrote most of that session. The two of us and the students had an absolute blast. It probably helps that I know much more about perl than I do the linux kernel. :-/
I took one of Jenn's latest entries and, using Comic Life, I converted it to a comic. Just because I can.
